Wow. You’ll need to have the tissues ready for this book, because it is very heavy and packs all the feels.

Dawn Miller and Mark Adams are best friends – with benefits – who happen to be in love with one another. Neither one of them have told the other how they feel – and Dawn is about to – until tragedy strikes, and she’s no longer able to (at that point).

I won’t go into the tragedy, because it’s a spoiler, but I will say it’s very well written. You felt for the characters so much through every aspect of this book.

I can’t gush enough praise on the hero, Mark. Oh. My. God. He deserves it all. What an amazing character. He stuck through everything with Dawn (and there was A LOT to stick with her through). Such an alpha, but at the same time very loving and kind. I haven’t read a hero like Mark before. Just did the right thing all the time, no matter what. You couldn’t help but love the guy.

Dawn. Dawn was a great character as well. She took what was thrown at her in stride, knowing that Mark was by her side. Watching their journey from friends to lovers was really sweet. And Mark’s parents and family were amazing as well.

All of our friends from book 1 and 2 of the series make an appearance in this book, and they were all there for Dawn during her times of need, proving that the family isn’t always the one you’re born into.

I really love this series and hope that there are many more books to come, because I will read them all!!! I very highly recommend this book.
