Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that originated on The Broke and The Bookish. As of January 2018, it moved to That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s theme is: Book that surprised me
Abruption by Riley Mackenzie. There is a twist in this book I never would have seen coming. This book is amazing and I would highly recommend.
Levi’s Blue by M. Leighton. A beautiful story about a blind woman and Levi, the man she meets. This book was surprisingly beautiful and made me feel good.
Sometimes Moments by Len Webster. I’m not a crier, but this book had me sobbing. Beautiful story.
My Coyote Ugly Life by Jessica Spoon. I was surprised at how funny this book was. I wish another would come out soon.
Sweet Southern Trouble by Michele Summers. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It had such richly written, fun characters. Never heard of this author before, but will be reading more of her.
Wicked Fall by Sawyer Bennett. I’m a big fan of Ms. Bennett, but this book was really bad and I didn’t like any of the characters.
He Killed Them All by Jeanine Pirro. I watched the Jinx before reading this, and was disappointed that this book was more about Pirro than Durst.
Chasing Justice: Freeing Myself After Two Decades on Death Row for a Crime I Didn’t Commit by Kerry Max Cook. For one, the name is ludicrously long, but this book had so much potential and just didn’t deliver.
Why I’m Yours by S. Moose. Has a trigger scene and was incredibly predictable with a terrible ending.
Slider by Stacy Borel. A sequel to a book I really enjoyed that was so bad I wanted a refund. Didn’t like the heroine at all and didn’t much like the hero. Ruined the author for me.
