Top Ten Tuesday is a book meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish blog. Sometimes, when they have topics that I don’t have answers to, I branch off and do my own. This week is one of those weeks.
This week is:
Top Ten Movies I want to see/TV Shows I want to watch thanks to the Golden Globes.
I LOVE award shows and the GG are no exception. So thanks to them for inspiring my list for today.
Movies
La La Land. I love musicals and Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have amazing chemistry, so this is a no brainer for me.
Lion. I hadn’t heard of this movie, but I love Dev Patel and this sounds like a great story.
Zootopia. I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t seen this and it’s been on Netflix for months. My kids have seen and loved it. Soon.
Florence Foster Jenkins. This looks like a fun movie. And it stars the most “overrated” actress. Just kidding. She’s the best.
Hidden Figures. Ok, I’ve wanted to see this for a while, since before the GG. Anything with NASA and the space program and I’m in.
Manchester by the Sea. I’ve heard this movie is really sad, but it still looks good.
TV
The Crown. I’ve already watched the first episode and it’s really good. It’s beautiful and grand and in the same tradition of Downton Abbey.
Atlanta. I’ve seen this in my feed on the Fx app for a while but never paid attention. I may start to now.
Goliath. I like BBT and this looks pretty good. Several people have recommended.
The Night Manager. Tom Hiddleston is yummy, and I can handle a six part miniseries.
Happy watching.
