Book description from

Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…

That’s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she’s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories from a past that she wishes could just stay buried.

Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he’s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn’t at all who he’s been claiming to be. When the secrets he’s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky’s life will change forever

My review:

HOLY S&^*!!!

This is seriously one of the best books I have ever read. This book took me on an amazing journey, one I won’t soon forget, with two characters who were so genuine and perfect for each other.  This book needs to be a mystery to people who haven’t read it, because it has such an amazing twist that I would feel terrible about ruining.

This book was SO well written, sucking you in immediately and taking you on a journey, then completely throwing in a wrench that throws the reader for a loop.  I’ve told friends to read this but I don’t tell them what it’s really about, because I would hate to spoil it.

This book was nothing that I expected it to be.   I have read thousands of books in my life, but this is in the top 5 (along the likes of  To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sun Also Rises).  If you read one book this year, make it this one.
